Academics

Academics is extremely important to the sisters of Alpha Xi Delta. So much so that we place a large emphasis on our grades within our chapter and have many different ways to help encourage our sisters and hold them accountable. Our chapter in particular has a position that oversees grades and helps to inspire women to excel in their studies. We make study groups and study buddies to help each other stay on track and make our academics more fun. We have workshops where we discusses study techniques and offer advice. We help make connections within our majors and help other sisters make informed decisions on what classes to take and what professors are the best! We offer tips and tricks and share our learned study hacks and college experiences. Academics come first and Alpha Xi Delta not only acknowledges this but helps to push sisters to realize their potential. 

To join Alpha Xi Delta, a woman must have 2.75 high school GPA or a 2.5 collegiate GPA. To remain in good standing within our chapter a woman must maintain a 2.5 collegiate GPA. If a woman falls under that we have a really positive academic program to help her get back on track! Through study hours, study buddies, academic plans and fun incentives we keep our women responsible and excelling in their academics!
