Sisterhood
The word sisterhood usually means blood-related sisters going through life together and creating core memories. But for Alpha Xi Delta, the word “sisterhood” means that we created a sisterly bond with girls who are from another mother!
Sisterhood, for us, means so much more! It is girlhood, core memories, late-night sweet treats, running errands together, sleepovers, sisterhood events (we will talk more about this ?), friendship, having your future bridesmaids in your chapter, and always having someone to go to, rather it be happy or sad tears shedding, you will always have a friend to lean on in Alpha Xi Delta. This connection is shared between women across the USA and throughout our chapter, and we share the same letters and values. A Sisterhood is also used to describe a type of event we have that includes only the women of Alpha XI Delta. Sisterhood could also mean fun events with our girls like the following…
- Movie nights
- Moms’ day (we love our mammas!)
- Galentines ♡
- Mixers with our brotherhood fraternity
- Xi man
- Scrapbook making
- Line dancing
- And so much more!
- Family day
- Painting
